Sometimes there are spots on the glasses in the rooms and sometimes when I ordered room service, the fries weren't crispy or the ice in my cup was melted.
And one time, it took over 45 minutes for a drink order on the casino floor to finally come. I've also had a couple of really bad meals there. I'm the first to admit that I've not always had great room experiences at the Mirage. I've also gone for a variety of reasons and at different ages (raucous younger partying, bachelorette/girls weekends, couples getaways, and most recently - 'oh my god leave-me-alone I'm an exhausted wife-mom-daughter and need downtime.') and as I think back, really this is the only hotel that comes to mind for all of those purposes. Between those two things, I have stayed at or at least visited most of the hotels/casinos on the Strip.
I also lived there for a couple of years. As I've said in previous reviews, I think I've traveled to Vegas somewhere in the vicinity of 18-20 times.
